I began running during the Summer of 2018, I used to run on occasion a number of years previous to this, but generally shorter runs, 10 miles and under. Since then, I stopped running for quiet some time and in 2018, I decided to start running as an exercise again. I had several motivations for this, one of those motivations was to get in better overall shape and lose some weight. It was a slow start, but I am glad to say now that I have lost about 50 lbs. to date and feel much healthier. In 2019 I was able to run 2 marathons and several other smaller running events. Running has had a number of positive benefits for me, mental and physical. As a hobby project, I thought I would make a blog. I have some friends and family that enjoy running so it’s a good way to write a little about my running.
